At the Prophet the talk's going more and more to the upcoming elections. This will be the first time I've participated in a wizarding election - I'm not sure exactly when the last one was, but it must've been before I was of age. At any rate, I'm learning how this whole electoral process worked compared to the Muggle one, and it's quite enlightening. I think it's really important this time around that we look at each candidate's platform, though working for the paper is probably making it easier for me, with all the interviews and such. Anyway, we don't want to vote in someone new just to discover they're a nightmare.

Anyway, it's exciting.

I'm really in the mood for ice cream.

Take solace in the fact that insofar as who is elected Minister, your vote will hardly matter.

Who we vote for is much less important than who the vast and ignorant masses decide is better aesthetically. So far, Blurst is an..alluring candidate, and people will be voting much as they did in the last election: afraid.

We all know how that turned out.

There are many things that could be writte, Clearwater, that one may choose to scratch out instead. Insults, for example.
