[Owl to Hestia]

Hestia,

I feel so slow on the uptake, but you wouldn't believe how busy I've been lately. Well actually, in a newish job yourself, you might have an idea. Anyway, belated or not, I did want to send my congratulations of the recent news. I don't know Hart very well, but he seems like a wonderful man from what I've seen so far, and I'm sure you two will be very happy together. It makes me wonder if I'll ever

Anyway, congratulations again, and be sure not to mind the rumours that will most assuredly pop up seeing that, well, it's Hogwarts.

Cheers,

Penelope Clearwater

My dear Penny!

Oh dear...I feel terrible at not being able to maintain contact with you as often as I would like, although I can most definately relate to being swamped. How have you been doing?

This new teaching position I have does not employ the copious loads of paperwork my job at the Ministry had me toil over daily, although it does involve a generous helping of lesson plans and homework assignments. I love it though. It's quite an experience.

Thank you so much, Penny. His proposal certainly did catch me off-guard, although it was a pleasant surprise nevertheless. Now there are the wedding plans to get underway...and I have not a clue where to start! Yet I am nonetheless excite to start discussing them over with Hart, the dear heart...

But yes...thank you again, Penny, and do not hesitate to drop me an owl from time to time.

Cheers!

Hestia,

I suppose that's what happens with working adults, though you'd think with these journals it would be an easy enough task. Then again, I really don't look at mine as much as I ought to. I've been doing well enough for the most part, settling in with Percy and juggling my job and other things. It's been busy, but I tend to like busy.

It sounds like an experience. You're not teaching the youngest of the Weasley brood, are you? Or is that Ethan's domain?

I can imagine. I think it would be nicer to be surprised in a way. We'll have to meet up sometime so I can squeal girlishly over your ring. And Hart...ah, his name is certainly apropos, isn't it?

I'll certainly attempt to be a better correspondent in the future.

Cheers,

Penelope Clearwater

Penny,

I myself love to keep busy, and I daresay the students certainly do (and quite effortlessly) keep me very much occupied. I believe Ginny is in Ethan's class. He is so much more skilled than me when it comes to transfiguration, and is in charge of teaching the fourth through seventh years with their advanced lessons. As for me, I teach the younger children...the first through third years (as that is about as far as my transfiguration skills take me!).

Yes! We must meet up some time for a bit of girl-talk...maybe even drag out Tonks from her little cubicle as well. Just let me know when you are available for that, and I shall have to send an owl over to Tonks as well!

Ta for now!

Hestia,

It's not like we didn't keep our own Professors quite occupied back in our days, after all. They're just carrying on the tradition, I daresay. It would make sense that Ethan's got Ron and Ginny though I'm sure you're doing a fine job with the younger students.

A girl's night out is definitely in order, then. I would think that your schedule is the least flexible of all of ours (though with the way they're probably working Tonks, I might be mistaken, there) but Sundays are usually best for me.

See you soon!

~Penelope
