Received post from Mum today. It seems the presents I sent for the twins' birthday arrived on time, which is good. It's hard to judge sometimes with international post. Last year I know I was late, though it bothered Mum more than it bothered them. What can you do, though, really?

Otherwise, the job's going well enough. I've only had little pieces since my first big one on the dinner at Hogwarts, but my supervisor informed me that I might get to do a bit of interviewing as far as the candidates for Minister go. I do hope that goes through.

Whenever I find some time to write, it seems I have almost nothing to say. Hm.

I'm having the same problem-- I lost the inclination to write in this journal for a while, just because I never really had much to say, but it's a useful method of communication (although admittedly when you're sitting next to me it's not entirely necessary).

I'm glad the job's going well, too.

It's definitely a useful method of communication - that's why I picked one up in the first place. I suppose I just do so much other writing that when I look at my journal, I really don't feel like picking up a quill again, especially if there's nothing important to say.

Yes, that's probably part of it-- if you worked in a shop or something, maybe you'd be more inclined to write. I spend a lot of my day filing and sorting, and it's the last thing I'd want to do when I come home.
